Country project

I did a state project with my fifth graders that could be adapted to a country project with sixth graders. Have them do a notebook with the report broken into segments - physical geography, history, population, language, customs, and include a colored, labeled map of their country. For the presentation, they could bring food from that country, or play music from that country, or show a Power Point of pictures of that country, or some combination of the above.
