new to Alberta

I'm new to teaching in Alberta so I've basically been using the Math to the Max series for math as well as having students keep a math notebook. In BC we used the MathQuest workbooks which I liked. I haven't heard anyone that liked the Quest 2000 series.I'm going to check out Nelson's math books. They have ones that are specific to Alberta, BC or Ontario curriculum. They are cheap too...$35 or $45 for 10 books
