getting ready for the test

All of the tests in our reading series are, for the most part, written in the format of the test. (Scott Foresman, I'm in Florida) So if we use the Basal tests, the children see the test format weekly, including short and long responses. So, to answer your question, our kids see test format questions weekly from third grade on.
We also have supplemental math and science materials written in the test format and use them quite regularly.
