TV Tray Island

One thing I have done for students like this is to bring a TV tray into my class. The student who is unable to sit next to another student without disrupting the learning of that other student has to sit at the "island" (which is the tv tray off to the side of the room) A box serves as a container for that student's books and folders. This has DRASTICALLY cut down on issues like the one you posted about.
