If they backed us up when we need them then discipline wouldn't be such a problem! I had an incident where three students confessed to some bad things they wrote about me...CONFESSED...and the darlings got off with a note home! No punishment of any kind! I am so upset! Those students are smart enough to know they can get away with this again if they want. By the way, I teach middle school so use your imagination as to what they wrote!
