Another great book by Chris Van Allsburg is "The Mysteries of Harris Burdick". You will love this book! It is book full of amazing pictures and each one has nothing more than a caption. We use the captions as springboards to writing mysteries.Other authors....Mem Fox and Cynthia Rylant. Two good books of Cynthia Rylant's are "In November" and "When I Was Young in the Mountains". Oh! Janet Stevens author/illustrator. Hilarious books like "Epossumondas","Cooka Doodle Doo" "Jackalope" and "Plaidapus Lost."
