I was going to have my 4/5 grade students choose a story and act it out for younger students. I was going to have them read the books and make up trivia questions and have a battle off. The Better Butter Battle is an excellent book about war. The Places We'll Go is another good, higher level book. The Lorax is great for Environmental issues. We'll also start the day with Green Eggs and Ham.
