Read aloud to him like every other page, be an example, READ SLOWLY !!! don't make a big issue about his stuttering. Experts told me that makes the stuttering worse. I worked one on one with a student last year. I got ideas and help from the National Stuttering Foundation and our school speech teacher. The foundation stated lots of things not to do also. Operation no!!! another no no is making fun of a stutterer. I have the address at home if you are interested.
