Clip to ScrapBook
A hundred years ago when I was in elementary school, we got the Wednesday paper and our teacher would use the grocery ads for math lessons. Ex: If you purchased XYZ from Store A, how much money would you save if you purchased the same items from Store B? Or, if you purchase 15 pounds of potatoes for 3.99, how much is that per pound.

I hope that helps. I plan to do this type of thing when I start teaching elementary level.
