Allow your kids to "write" their own plays and act them out. short plays.
Or aquire some international flags do a song, or learn some sign language and sign to a song as you sing.
Ask each child what they think a talent show is about, and what talent they have, allow them to display their own talent individually.
Have them recite the Bill of Rights and sing the national anthem.....sounds cheesy, but it's cute...hope that helps you in your brainstorming
