Handwriting

With my students I pair them or put them in groups of three. We get construction paper and cut them into four squares. We write a cursive letter on each of the squares with a crayon. We practice tracing the cursive letters. Each person chooses a different crayon color. One student starts and traces the cursive letter and passes to the next person in their group. Use both sides of the square. We call this activity Rainbow cursive letters. Students have to correctly trace each letter.
