I,too am sorry that you have to put up with this. Perhaps the next time they start in on you AND there are others nearby - just call them on it and ask them to clarify their comments. Just point blank ask them what the problem is. I wonder what it is about teaching that contributes to these situations. Is it just too many women in what they see is a competitive situation?? I have certainly seen way too many 'grown women' act like middle schoolers.
