Saxon math

Aghhh.. I'm in my first year teaching and so far I don't like the Saxon first grade math. I used the new Silver Burdett Ginn in my student teaching which goes in the traditional unit format. I find the Saxon to be confusing-it jumps around from one topic to the next. I know it is developmentally designed but I hate it. The only nice thing is that the worksheets come already copied...although they can be so bland I don't use them a lot anyways. JMHO
