Felt/flannel boards

Well, the only time I've ever used flannel/felt (I keep calling it different things) boards, the pieces themselves are made out of the same material as the board. Therefore, I use felt pieces that stick to my felt board. Does that make sense? I hope I'm talking about the same thing as you are ha ha! But I bet if you had heavier pieces, a little velcro on them (the hook side) would make them stick to the felt. Not sure, but it's worth a shot.
