Breaking a contract

I just broke my contract with a private school. Because I was able to get a note from my doc - simply stating "advised change in job due to stresses" it was not an issue. The doc left it at that because "stresses" left it open for everything... I actually couldn't stand the position anymore and had to go to a less elitest school... I've heard, though, that it's more difficult to get out of a public school contract, but that too depends on the principal.Good luck!
