If you truly want to get in a serious relationship I would pay really close attention to all the single teachers you meet at workshops, classes, etc. No one truly understands a teacher but another teacher. I met my husband at a summer softball game, but it was the fact that we were both in the same business that helped avoid the initial clumsiness of small talk. And we still find ourselves discussing our students 14 years and 2 kids later. It's easy to love your best friend!
