Resolutions

In my class my 2nd graders just drew self-portraits and then painted them with watercolors. We draw with pencil, trace over the pencil with Sharpie, and paint with the watercolors. The students were required to write 4 New Year's Resolutions. (2 home ones and 2 school ones). I matted them on construction paper and then made a bulletin board. I titled the board "Remarkable Resolutions" It is really cute! I think the parents would love it. Not only are their resolutions funny, but you should see their self-portraits.
