Hi all,
I agree with all that's been said...and I believe that the con's outway the pros. Even our middle schools want to go to block scheduling with cores (teams). It's difficult to know your students as individuals, and to integrate unless you have outstanding communication. You're teaching subjects and not children. There's lots of lost teaching time spent 'in transit'. Not my choice of options...sorry. You might try ASCD or Middle Web for research on the subject. Best of luck, whatever you decide. ;-D
