Wait and see might be the best approach...

until you get there, you won't really know what the previous teacher did with her groups. When I did support for grades 4-7, some students were sent with classroom work for extra help and some came with nothing and I planned activities to focus on areas of concern. It might be a mixed bag for you too...I am sure you will get some direction from the previous teacher or the teachers in the school who you are supporting...Write back and let us know...Ally
