I feel your pain

No matter what age it can be sometimes frustrating to set up a center routine. I created a chart on my computer and printed it out so students could check to see where they should be each day. I would take a Monday and during center time, model each center. Sure, the activities may be different, but if you set up rules and leave detailed directions, any 5th grader should succeed. I have a variety of students and they all have been able to use centers efficiently this year.
