Why on earth would this issue even come up on an application? Would it be in the "Do you have any disabilities that would require special accommodations?" section? I don't see how it would be relevant, much less important.

I guess it might be difficult for someone working with young children who are learning the colors, but it should not be a problem at the secondary level. Whatever methods you have been using to find success as a student should serve you just as well as a teacher.
