I've used Everyday Math for the last two years in both 4th and 5th grades. I absolutely love it. If your whole district is adopting it, it would be a good idea to start with one grade level per year. Start with first and continue to add second, third, fourth, etc. It is a very different program than what the kids are used to and it is difficult for the upper grades to jump right into it.
