We have days like yours in my school. It seems like many of the specials teachers like to get out of their responsiblities. This gym teacher takes the cake. He should have classroom lessons on health or something for when these events occur. We all know they do from time to time. He could at least have come to your room and done something with your kids for his PE time. Your principal should have handled the situation better. It sounds just like our school so you are unfortunatley not alone.
