Pet-acular Pet Project

Last year in my 3rd and 4th grade classroom, we created a bulletin board of "Pet-acular Pets" Students brought in pictures of a pet from home (or if they didn't have a pet, one that they would like to have) and wrote about why it was so "pet-tacular". I got the idea from Feb Mailbox of 2003. Students glued pictures and writing on to red and pink hearts. I got many compliments about how great the bulletin board looked, and the students loved being able to share their pets with the class!
