Moving from 3rd to K-1

I will be moving and changing districts in the near future, unfortunately the only opening in the nearby district is a K-1 position. I am willing and excited to make a change, but am nervous because of my lack of experience. I know I will be able to do this, because I will do a lot of research over the summer, however I need to know how I can conveye this to my interviewer. I have an interview today with the superintendent of the school. ANY SUGGESTIONS OR WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT, PLEASE.
