Lots depends upon how they're introduced and used. I'm math specialist at my school. My role is to coach, model and provide staff support. I do additional assessments for at risk students, teach strategy games and provide staff development. I would like to get into more classrooms and coteach, but this is a difficult sell for most teachers. A safe learning, growing culture must be in place before this can happen on a large scale.
