on maternity leave

I just left school on disability for my prgnancy earlier than my district and I had expected. I have spoken several times to my replacement and the poor lady is being scrutinized unfairly by several parents. Every one of these parents has had to go through their own maternity leave in some way. I just don't understand why they need to be so judgemental of this new teacher. She's doing her best. I know they are worried about their cildren but the school would never have placed someone unqualitfied in with their children.
