My Gripe

Right now, my 5th graders are into the shoving, touching, lovey-dovey, boyfriend/girlfriend, oh we're just playing pushing. I had a girl go home today with a bruise on her back because she and a friend were "playing" in line by shoving back and forth. Another student got involved, one shoved into another, and bam into something that severely bruised her back and caused her (she says) to lose feeling in her right arm. I can't stand this stuff. They can't grasp the concept that "just playing" leads to someone physically or emotionally hurt.
