Take on the new challenge. You WILL have days where you feel like banging your head against the wall or making a career change altogether, but the experience you will gain from a "bad class" will make you a tougher, better teacher. And you'll be able to handle problem children in future classes with more confidence and skill. I agree with the others to stick it out and at the end of the year, "hand pick" some favorites for the teacher that will have them in 4th grade hehe. You will get the last laugh.
