math lessons for observations
By kim

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi,
I team taught my lesson for my observation last year with a 2nd grade teacher. We did math centers (much like literacy centers). We explained the centers and modeled them the day before the observation and students went to one of them. Then the next day during the observation, we reviewed the centers and had the kids work their way through keeping a portfolio of their work. We told the kids which center they were going to next. The centers were time, money, pattern blocks, word problems, and measuring.
Hope this helps!
