In my classroom
By Phyllis

Clip to ScrapBook
I didn't build them myself, but I had a carpenter build risers in one corner of my room. They have three levels including a small triangular shelf that seats 3 at the corner. They are carpeted, and students sit there when I use the computer-tv presentation station to teach a lesson, for story time, and some other times when it is nice for them to be close together. It has worked out well for my room.

Students may sit there and read if they have free time, but it is a no talking zone.
