The kids love to see how things are made. See if there are any factories close enough that give tours. We can visit Frito Lay, (still warm samples) and a puzzle factory. If it is just a class and not several combined, Pizza Hut lets us come take a tour and make our own pan pizzas. Do you have a grocery with a bakery, they might decorate cookies or a cupcake? Although I have absolutely no idea what the title is, there is a book that lists all the factories in the USA that give tours.
