heel spurs

I was diagnosed with heel spurs about 10 years ago. My podiatrist made me the shoe inserts ($300, then) and recommended I always wear good sneakers with a high instep. Nike makes a nice one. I was able to avoid surgery doing this and I have not had pain since, unless I go barefoot for a few days. I have a note from the doc saying I need to wear sneakers at school, since we have a dress code that prohibits them. I hope you have good luck as the pain of heel spurs is really bad!
