How about this one? I have 2 first graders, a second grader, a third grader, 3 fifth graders, and a sixth grader. Planning for that split is nearly impossible, but we do activities that cover all levels of interest and intelligence. My little ones may not always follow what is being taught, but they get exposure to higher thinking, and my older students may be bored sometimes, but they are learning patience and caring. It takes a while to get used to planning for split grades, but after years of doing it, it comes easier. Good luck!
