You didn't do it to harm anyone. You thought the matter would remain private. You now realize that your actions were unwise and perhaps impulsive. BUT you thought with all the pressure on teachers today that you could elicit a laugh or two from your peers. It was not meant to be disrespectful. Now in hindsight you realize you've hurt people's feelings and you're sorry. And so on....and so on.....And you apologize profusely. In other words, practice what "we teachers" preach. CQ
