It is very easy to make if you have someone cut the pipe for you. All you need is PVC pipe that is about six inches long and 2 elbow joints. Place an elbow joint at the top of the pipe and at the bottom, position them towards the face so the child can talk into it and hear him/herself.

I also use this for students who seem to have a naturally loud voice and cannot tone it down. They can actually hear how loud they are and tone it down because it hurts their ear.
