Last year my fifth graders performed two (humorous version) myths- Narcissus and Hera and one called The Monkey and the Crocodile. These were from a Scholastic book (I can look it up) called something like Short Plays for the Class - it's a recent book.Myths are good because
- they are short
- they have unusual characters and interesting costumes
- they have a clear story line I can look up the book if you're interested. I'm in Canada and it was from the Canadian Scholastic publishers...I'm not sure if you have Scholastic in the USA.
