RE: Tips for classroom observation
By Deniece

Clip to ScrapBook
Unfortunately, that is one of the pitfalls of observation during live classroom time - the teacher is being pulled in 19 different directions at once. When I observed a second grade teacher, I found it far more efficient to simply write down my questions and talk to the teacher once the children were out of the room. She remembered situations very easily and was able to answer my questions even after the event passed. Have you tried talking to the teacher about your feelings? Have you tried finding another class to observe or are you stuck with this particular one?
