Personally, I don't feel you are being unprofessional in the least. You are your children's guardian. I am surprised sopme of the parents haven't questioned this. I agree with the other poster that it all needs to be documented and you must see how much time is stated on the IEP. If she is in violation of that the problem needs to be dealt with. I would talk to her confidentionally first however....if she states that she doesn't have the "time" than I would take the IEPs and visit with the principal about how the speech teacher is overwhelmed.
