Saxon Math
By Angie

Clip to ScrapBook
I have used Saxon math in first grade for 7 years and absolutely love it. I find it learner-centered, hands-on, and cyclical in nature unlike the districts adoptions. I do agree with one who said the older grades did not like it and at our school first grade is the only grade who uses it right now. I have found that my students understand math ideas of: money and add/sub. facts better than anything I've every used. It is the only program where I felt confident in a students' mastery of skills and their preparation for 2nd grade math.
