Play Bingo
By SarahR

Clip to ScrapBook
I have found that my students are motivated to learn prefixes and suffixes by playing Bingo with them. Just copy a blank card and have each child fill out his own card by writing in the prefixes and suffixes in any order. To play, you give the meaning and they cover the right prefix/suffix.

I give them the list to study at home and then they get 10 minutes to study with a partner before we play the game. When someone gets a Bingo, they have to say the prefix/suffix AND its meaning in order to win.
