I see your point about the families. It would depend upon the type of school you teach in. I would never send home a game for my students. Many of my students' parents are drug addicts and alcholics. Many are illiterate. There are times when I make and send home sandwiches for my students to eat for dinner. I have to make sure the kids can do their work by themselves because they get absolutely NO support whatsoever. However there is a teacher in my school who Does send home these games. She can't understand why the kids never play them.
