flat stanley

My second graders just finished reading this. Go to www.flatstanleyproject.com for some great ideas. On a smaller scale my students have created their own flat stanley. We wrote a letter explaining who flat stanley was and asked if he may join them at work. We've asked that they reply telling us what flat stanley did. We plan to send these letters off to people within our community. When the letters are returned we will check on the map of our city to see where he has been. We have also written a retelling. You could have them write their own stanley adventure.
