Flat Stanley
By Brandi Crall

Clip to ScrapBook
My daughter's fourth grade class read Flat Stanley this past fall. One activity that her teacher did was to have each student bring in an address of a friend or relative that lived in a different state. They then mailed a stanley to that person. The friend or relative then had to reply with a short letter, something about their community, and then mail a stanley to one of their friends using the return address of the school. It went great. We had responses from all over the US and other countries. Her class loved doing the project and reading all the letters.
