Clip to ScrapBook
I am not sure where I got this idea, but I used it for MLK Day and my Kindergarteners loved it. You take an old sheet and the primarly colors and have each child paint their own ideas on it. Talk to them about how the colors are getting along and making new colors- inrelation of how we get along no matter what color our skin is, etc. Then after the sheet dries cut it into pieces so every child can have their own to take home. I typed a little paragraph about what we did with the sheet and what it meant.
