Response to "Katy ISD

I consider Katy an excellent school district. I have taught in the disctrict and I have a 14 year old son who attends school in Katy ISD. At the moment, I am working in the distrct as a substitute. A job fair will be held on April 24th at Cinco Ranch High School. The TAKS scores are very high and the curriculum is very challenging. They place high emphasis on GT and Pre AP curriculum. The Academic classes are nothing to sneeze at. It is difficult to get a job in the district. Becoming a substitute teacher is one way to gain entrance.
