counting
By pjm

Clip to ScrapBook
hi
can the children who don't get it skip count?
know what I mean
3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30
by 3's, 4's etc....if they can skip count then they can easily see the direct connection between skip counting and multiplication....that often helps...and there are connect the dot books out there that involve skip counting so they can have fun while they learn to skip count. If you can get ahold of some one in your building who teaches touch math....they may have a bunch of skip counting activities...
