You don't say if you will be new to the students or not. So here goes---
Use But Martin-- its about an Alien visiting a school.-- Read the story through to the students drawing them into the story by asking them to identify key elements in the illustrations and to help you by echoing BUT MARTIN. Read the book to the children twice and then explain that you are going to pretend that Martin is visiting their school-- this leads into name tags so that martin knows their names and then a version using their names and details about your students-- good luck
