Thanks, Liz - Always have a plan! By Melissa

I think as you do. What I would like to advise anyone who even casually contemplates a move out of teaching is to get a back-up plan: Plan B. Then, if the day comes when you are just plain fed up or your principal wants to terminate your employment, you can gracefully move on and have a decent salary. Unfortunately, I didn't stop to think of Plan B. I lived too much for the present, and didn't plan well enough. If I had been a planner, I would have had my real estate license by now, not just be thinking of going for it.
