I have come to the conclusion that you need to have something to offer the school that few other can offer. I was hired here (i think) because they needed a computer person to get a webpage up and running and to run a computer club. In an interview I woudl think of things that you could offer the school. What after school programs are you willing to be involved in to start up? Do you have a special skill? IYou could also try to find out what certain schools need (beside just the teaching position). This is just my opinion.
